At Flare Alert, our mission is to improve roadside emergency safety by warning oncoming traffic to your situation. What about people, vendors in this case, who desire to be on the side of the road to sell something? Should roadside vendors be allowed due to unplanned safety concerns? For Americans, the concept of freedom would tell us that I should have the right to sell anything on the side of the road as long as I pay my taxes, right? But even if a roadside vendor is a safe distance away from the road allowing plenty of room for customers, signage, and on/off traffic may cause safety concerns.
